A total of 121 students aged five to 12 received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday morning.
During the vaccination campaign, healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine.
Departmental officials, teachers, ward Administrators and volunteers participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers.
As of July 5, a total of 16764 students aged five to 12 were vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccine in Maungdaw Township, Rakhhine State. Medical worker continue to vaccinate students in the remaining wards and villages in the Township.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
