Two men were killed and one other injured after a truck rear ended a stationary passenger bus in Ottiwn Township, Bago Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs said.
    

The fatal accident occurred near milepost 153/5 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway when a truck crashed into a passenger bus. Firemen from a nearby fire service station promptly rushed to the scene of accident to carry out the rescue operation. Two men including a truck driver died on the spot and a man from the passenger bus sustained minor injuries and his condition is considered not life-threatening.
    

The injured was sent to Toungoo Hospital and the deceased a case opened aganist the truck driver over reckless driving by the police.
