The Department of Fisheries under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation held a fish planting ceremony at Palin Creek near Palin Village in Myothit Township, Magway Region for preventing the extinction of fish species this morning.

At the event, members of the Township Administration Council and the Township Administrator and township level officials jointly released a total of 200000 fingerlings into the creek to further preserve the biodiversity of the Palin Creek.—Than Win Tun(IPRD)
