A total of 215 Myanmar migrant workers (133 males and 82 females) returned home through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge No 2 in Myawady Border town yesterday. Local authorities welcomed the returnees and the responsible persons from respective townships arranged the necessary medical check-up and send them to quarantine centres in respective regions and states in accordance with the COVID-19 health guideline.

From 1 May to 18 September, 78,057 migrant workers have returned home through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge-2.
