A total of 295 students aged five to 12 received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday morning.
During the vaccination campaign, healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine.
Departmental officials, teachers and volunteers participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers.
As of July 13, a total of 2514 students aged five to 12 were vaccinated against second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in line with COVID-19 health rules in Maungdaw Township. Medical workers continue to vaccinate students in the remaining wards and villages in the Township.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
