THE government is actively cracking down on online gambling and telecom fraud including destructive elements in border areas.
A total of 273 foreigners who illegally entered the Myawady-Shwe Kokko and KK Park areas were arrested yesterday.
The three representatives from Myanmar, China and Thailand discussed in Myawady to transfer the detainees to their respective countries.
The combined teams collected the personal data and records, and a total of 1,303 foreigners who illegally entered the country were arrested between 30 January and 17 February 2025. — MNA/KTZH
