THE second day of the first regular session of the Third Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw was organized yesterday, with the attendance of all 72 region Hluttaw representatives.

A Defence Services Per­sonnel Representative took affirmations in front of the Speaker and signed the form of affirmations. The Speaker read out a congratulatory mes­sage sent by the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Office, and recorded the message.

The Speaker submitted the proposal to Hluttaw regarding the number of members, name lists, committee chair and sec­retary, terms, responsibilities, authority, and rights of the legislative committee and the public accounts, planning and finance, economic and trad­ing development committee, and Hluttaw approved to form these two committees.

The chairpersons of the legislative committee and pub­lic accounts, planning and fi­nance, and economic and trad­ing development committee briefed their terms, responsi­bilities, authority and rights to the Hluttaw.
