Iraqi rescue workers on Thursday recovered three bodies from the rubble of a building engulfed in a massive fire on Sunday in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.

The Iraqi Civil Defense said in a statement that rescue workers were still searching for eight other missing people believed to have been buried under the rubble of a three-story building that collapsed after capturing fire on Sunday in the al-Waziriyah industrial area.

Mohsen Kadhim, assistant director general of the Iraqi Civil Defense (ICD), told Xinhua on Monday that rescue teams were searching for 11 missing people at the site of the building, which contained warehouses storing flammable perfume.
