With the aim of increasing fish resources, promoting fish production and ensuring food security, Buthidaung Township Department of Fisheries released fingerlings into Myeyuh River near the schooner harbor in Buthidaung Township yesterday morning.

Chairman of the District Administration Council U Nay Oo and members, Colonel Tin Moe Aung, Commander of Tactical Operations, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Zaw Win and members, departmental officials, members of social organization and responsible persons attended the event.

At the event, staff officer of the Township Fisheries Department U San Win clarified the purposes of the plantation of fingerlings into the river and then handed over fingerlings to responsible officials.
