The third day and closing ceremony of the 30th Myanmar Tatmadaw Medical Conference was held yesterday morning at No 1 Military Hospital (700-bed) in PyinOoLwin.

 

The Director of Medical Corps, senior officers, medics, nurses, specialists from the Ministry of Health, overseas specialists, retired senior of­ficers and other invitees attend­ed the conference.

 

A total of 355 specialists, medical officers, experts and nurses attended the conference in person and 153 from other military hospitals across the country online.

 

On the third day of the con­ference, Futuristic Approaches to Optimize Nutrition and Ex­ercise Regimens for Myanmar Military Cadets and Debate Session were read out as the major symposium.

 

Chairman of the Tatmadaw Medical Research and Develop­ment Committee, Director of Medical Services Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin and officials presented the first, second and third priz­es of research symposiums and posters, the young researcher award and the winners of the debate session while the hon­ourable mentions were given to the conference organizing subcommittees and those who submitted research papers and posters.

 

Afterwards, Director Maj- Gen Ko Ko Lwin of Medical Services and Chairman of the Tatmadaw Medical Research and Development Committee delivered closing speech and the 30th Myanmar Tatmadaw Medical Conference came to a close. — MNA/MKKS
