THE opening ceremony of the 31st Myanmar Military Medical Con­ference took place at the stadium of the No 2 Tatmadaw Hospital (700-bed) in Aungban, Shan State (South), yesterday.

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, Adjutant-General from the Office of the Command­er-in-Chief (Army) Lt-Gen Zaw Hein, Eastern Command Com­mander Brig-Gen Kyaw Naing Oo, Director of the Medical Ser­vices Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin, med­ical corps, officials of the Ministry of Health, Tatmadaw and civilian international medical experts and invitees attended the conference.

 

The Shan State chief minis­ter, the adjutant-general and rel­evant officials cut the ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the event and had a documentary photo taken together with attendees.

 

At the event, the adju­tant-general made the speech. The director of the Medical Ser­vices presented gifts to the Shan State chief minister and the ad­jutant-general, marking the 31st Myanmar Military Medical Con­ference.

 

They cordially greeted the attendees and observed the re­search posters and medical sup­plies. — MNA/KTZH
