Yangon, 6 September

As part of effort to contain the spread of COVD-19 pandemic, a total of 338372 people received COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Insein Township, Yangon Region so far.

As of September 6, a total of 338372 people including 190417 people who received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 147955 people who received their second dosed of COVID-19 vaccine have been vaccinated  with COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in the Township.

Under the supervision of the Township Committee of COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment, volunteers from the Township General Administration Department, the Township Police Station and the Township Red-Cross society participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers.

Medical workers continue to administer the vaccine to the remaining people in the Township, according to the Township Department of Public Health.—Zwe Htet Ko(IPRD)
