Tachilek, 3 March
A total of 3,392 Grade-5 and Grade-9 students are sitting for the end-of-year exams today at the Tachilek B.E.H.S. and Sansai B.E.H.S. exam centers in Tachilek Township, Shan State (East), starting at 9 a.m.
Among the 3,392 students, 2,937 are from Basic Education Schools, 345 from private schools and 128 from monastic schools. The exams are scheduled to take place from March 3 to 8.
The exams were monitored by the Chairman of the District Administration Council, U Min Ko, along with district-level departmental officials, U Kyaw Swar Myo, the Chairman of the Township Administration Council, Daw San Kyi Win, the Township Education Officer and education staff. They provided students with necessary assistance, including healthcare services, traffic and road safety measures, ensuring a peaceful exam environment.— Kyaw Zayar Lin (Tachilek)
