A total of 41 representatives and officials from ethnic liter­ature and cultural associations in Kayah State and the Bago, Magway, Mandalay and Yangon regions arrived at Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station yesterday af­ternoon for a study tour.

 

The delegation will visit several prominent sites in Nay Pyi Taw on 4 and 5 June, in­cluding the Maravijaya Buddha Image, the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Complex, the Memorial to Fall­en Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw) Hlay Khwin Taung Hill Resort, the Thatta Thattaha Maha Bawdi Pagoda, MRTV (Tatkon) and the Defence Services Museum.

 

Organized by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs through the Department of Ethnic Litera­ture and Culture, the study tour aims to strengthen friendship among ethnic nationalities and foster a stronger Union spirit. — MNA/KZL
