A nationwide matriculation exam will start from 11 March to 20 March and a total of 11 examination centers will be opened in Taungtha Township, Myingyan District, Mandalay Region.

A total of 4598 students- including 780 students in Taungtha BEHS, 463 students in Minsu BEHS, 396 students in Waelaung BEHS, 538 students in Ywathit BEHS, 479 students in Semeegan BEHS, 132 students in Yathit BEHS, 415 students in Zagyan BEHS, 548 students in Tamiketha BEHS, 464 students in Kyawzi BEHS, 261 students in Zayatgyi BEHS and 122 students in Yonesigyi BEHS will appear for the matriculation exam.
