517590 people in Nyaung-U District have received COVID-19 vaccination until May 6, according to District Administration Council.

In the district, the vaccination program is being conducted at respective vaccination sites. In Nyaung-U Township, a total of 251563 people have received COVID-19 vaccines and in Kyaukpadaung Township, 266027 have already received the vaccination. 

In addition, mobile medical teams are making domiciliary visits to provide COVID-19 vaccination program to people in remote areas, according to an official from the District Administration Council.
