Kyaukse, 18 February

As of 18 February, a total of 594 confirmed COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region after tested negative for the virus in the second round of testing, according to an official from People’s hospital in Kyaukse Township.

Under the supervision of the Township committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, medical workers carried out vaccination campaign in conjunction with an awareness event at the designated vaccination sites in the Township.

Out of 710 COVID-19 positive patients, 594 patients have been discharged from hospitals in Kyaukse Township after receiving medical treatment. 

But 109 deaths were confirmed in the Township. Meanwhile, there are currently seven patients including two men and five women in hospital with COVID-19.—Thet Maung
