A joint team from relevant departments has carried out the controlled demolition of another illegal seven-storey residential building in the Shwe Kokko area, reportedly used for online scam operations and illegal gambling.
A total of 77 buildings in Shwe Kokko have been identified as being used for online gambling and fraud activities. Of these, 57 are being demolished using heavy machinery, while 20 are designated for controlled explosive demolition. Yesterday, one seven-storey building was demolished as part of the planned operation. So far, 66 illicit structures have been removed, with 11 remaining scheduled for demolition. — MNA/KTZH
