Gunmen in Bangladesh have killed at least seven election officials and wounded 15 others.
The country's electoral commission says the attackers opened fire on four cars in the southeastern district of Baghaichhari on Monday.
The officials were returning from a polling station after counting votes.
Elections were held on Monday to choose the district's representatives. Only ruling party candidates took part, with opposition parties boycotting the poll.
Police suspect the attack was planned by people who oppose the elections.
