Under the leadership of the township committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, measures have been stepped up to fight against the virus in crowded areas in Yae-kyi Township, Pathei District, Aeyarwady Region.

As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, the township committee on Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment, departmental officials and volunteers handed out 700 pieces of washable masks to local people free of charge in Myoma market in the town of Yae-kyi this morning.

Officials urged local people to respect social distancing rules and wear masks outside.
