71 confirmed COVID-19 positive patients being treated at the people’s hospitals and temporary hospital in the town of Tonta, Kengtung District in Shan State (East) were discharged from the hospitals on 6 October after making full recovery.

But the patients will also be put under seven-day home quarantine when they arrive in their native villages in accordance with the guidance of Ministry of Health.

Currently, 41 confirmed COVID-19 positive patients are reportedly receiving medical treatment at Tonta people’s hospital, temporary hospital in Pannaunglone Village, Mongpyin People’s hospital in the town of Tonta, Shan State(East).

Out of 112 confirmed COVID-19 positive in Tonta, 71 have been discharged from the hospitals after receiving medical treatment, according to the township Department of Health—Daw Hlaing Laing Nyein
