A ceremony to commemorate the 71st Anniversary of Kayin National Day organized by Kayin Literature and Culture Sub-Committee was convened at Letpanpin village, Kyonetonegyi village-tract, Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning with an introductory speech by the Chairman of Kayin Literature and Culture Sub-Committee.

At the event of Kayin national day, a flag was hoisted, following by national and Kayin flags. This was followed by the speeches of Secretary of Kayin Literature and Culture Sub-Committee Mann Win Maung and Chairman of Kayin National Day Mann Aung Myint.

The ceremony was attended by Kayin ethnic people from various regions and local residents. –Aye Chan Aung (IPRD)
