Mahlaing 27 March
A ceremony to mark 74th Anniversary Armed Forces Day was held in conjunction with the provision of supplies to disable veterans at the Township War Veterans Association’s office in Mahaling Township, Meikhtila district, Mandalay region at 8:00 am today.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Deputy Township Administrator U Aung Kyaw Lwin of the Township General Administration Department, Police Captain Than Tun of Myoma Police Station, Township Fire Services Commander U Zay Yar Aung, members of the Township Red Cross Society and members of the Township VA.
In the first session of the occasion, members of the Township VA listened to the speech by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. In the second session, Captain Mya Than (Retired) gave a speech and provided disable veterans with necessities and veterans who are over 75 years old with supplies.
