Thayet, 15 June

As of June 14, a total of 7830 students between five and 12 years old from 146 Basic Education Schools have been vaccinated against first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Thayet Township, Magway Region since June 2 this year.

Under the guidance of the District Administration Council, healthcare workers led by Dr. Nyunt Shwe Aung, the District medical superintendent and volunteers gave the vaccine to the students on a door to door basis in the Township. The chairman of the District Administration Council, chairman of the Township Administration Council and respective departmental officials participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary helps to healthcare workers.—Zaw Wan Tun(Aunglan)
