80 Myanmar citizens who served prison term in Thailand for breaching offenses came back home from Thailand through No.2 Friendship Bridge in Tachilek, Shan State on July 1.
    

They were welcomed by Shan State MP U Sai Lone San Khat, Township Administrator U Chan Myae Saw and concerned officials. Upon their arrival at the border checkpoint, the returnees were conducted medical checkups and got temperature check by health officials. Medical examination for swab from the returnees may take five days or one week. They were quarantined at a religious edifice and foodstuff is supplied by well-wishers.
    

So far, more than 300 Myanmar nationals returned home from Laos while over 3000 Myanmar citizens came back from Thailand via Tachilek checkpoint druging the period from 23 Mar to 1 July.
