The Department of Fisheries under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation took place a fish planting ceremony at the Ma-U Creek in Dagon Myothit(East) Township, Yangon Region for preventing the extinction of fish species this morning.

At the event, officials released a total of 800000 fingerlings from Laydauntkan and Hlawgar Fish Farming Camps into the creek to further preserve the biodiversity of the Ma-u Creek.
