Mabein, 13 June

As of 13 June, a total of students between five and 12 years old have been vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Mabein Township, Shan State (North) since June 6 this year.

On the occasion, healthcare workers and volunteers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students before administering the vaccine and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.

A total of 822 students between five and 12 years old including 80 students who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccine on 13 June have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the Township.

Staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office Daw Than Tin and teachers, the Township level officials and parents of the students participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to medical workers.—Myo Min (IPRD)
