84 Myanmar citizens arrived in Namsang Township, Southern Shan State from Thailand this morning.
    

84 returnees—55 men and 29 women—came back home by five passenger buses and they were welcomed by officials from the township Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment committee. Three of 84 returnees are from Namsang and will be placed under home quarantine and 81 others headed to Taunggyi.
    

All returnees were put under 14-day observation at a facility quarantine center in Tachilek and they tested negative for the coronavirus. They were returned home under the statement issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports on August 26.
