THE Eighth State Central Sangha Working Committee of the Sangha held its second-day session of the seventh meet­ing at Maha Pasana Cave on Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region, yesterday morning.

The meeting was presided over by SSMNC Vice-Chairman Aggamaha Pandita Dr Bhadd­anta Candanasara, while Joint Secretary Sayadaw Aggamaha Pandita Bhaddanta Sandavam­sa Lankara Bhivamsa acted as master of ceremonies.

At the meeting, the Sayad­aws supplicated brief reports on the work processes regard­ing Vinicchaya and religious affairs and educational matters within a year of the meeting and concluded the first session.

At noon, the Sayadaws con­tinued the discussion to seek approvals and concluded the second-day meeting.

Meeting participant members of the Sangha were served day meals by Daw Toe Toe and son U Kyaw Phone Win (Customs officer), U Myo Kyaw Kyaw (Tha Tha Na) + Daw Ei Thuzar Ko (Tha Tha Na), grandchildren Ma Yoon Pan Myat Hay Thi and Maung Kyaw Zin Hein dedicating to the deceased Captain Tin Htay (Rtd). — MNA/KTZH
