Students began taking the Myanmar subject of the 2025 matriculation exam at 9:00 am on March 17 at the designated examination centers in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.
The 2025 matriculation exam, which started on March 17, is being held at six examination centers in Zabuthiri Township, including No. 6 Basic Education High School, No. 7 Basic Education High School, No. 22 Basic Education High School, No. 14 Basic Education High School, Sub-B.E.H.S., No. 3 B.E.M.S., and the 1000-bed Hospital exam center. A total of 1,531 students were registered for the exam, including 710 boys and 821 girls. Of those, 1,454 students (658 boys and 796 girls) actually sat for the exam. Unfortunately, 77 students were absent, which means 94.97% of registered students took the exam, according to the Township Education Officer’s office.
To ensure the exam runs smoothly, various authorities, including departmental officials, the Tatmadaw members, police, firefighters, ward and village administrators, and members social organizations, have been working together to ensure traffic safety and security under the leadership of the Township Administration Body.— Hein Thu Aung (IPRD)
