Torrential downpours and flash flood caused some schools in Minhla Township, Bago Region to temporarily suspend on 12 September.

The temporarily suspended schools will provide students with additional learning hours when the floodwater in the school declined.

In addition, Boyonedan Road is experiencing flash flood and water entered into some low-lying areas in wards and villages. No casualties were reported in the incident.
