Provision of additional cash assistance to pregnant women and children under two-year old in Myaing Gyi Ngu IDP camp, Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State was jointly conducted by the Department of Social Welfare and the Livelihoods and Food Security Trust Fund yesterday morning.

On the occasion, Township Administrator U Naing Win Aung and officials provided K 3,960,000 to a total of 23 pregnant women and children under two-year old at a rate of K 30,000 of additional cash assistance per person. In addition, pregnant women and children under two-year old in other villages will be contributed via village administrators.
