An advanced accountancy and auditing course for officers 1/2019 was opened at the convocation hall of Cooperative University (Sagaing) this morning with an opening speech by Rector Dr. Moe Moe Yy of the university.

Rector Daw Moe Moe Yi, in her speech, said that financial accountancy, management accountancy and auditing subjects will be taught by retired teachers, saying the subjects to be taught are essential for dealing with works of the Cooperative Department.

She also urged the trainees to learn the subjects with great interest and to use the know-how accrued from the course in their workplaces.      

Then, Rector Daw Moe Moe Yi honored the instructors with cash assistance. A total of 99 trainees from Magway and Sagaing region- 32 male and 67 female- will attend the course that will last for four weeks.—Zaw Myint Naing
