The closing ceremony of an advanced tailoring course took place at the village hall in Konthar Village, Loikaw in Kayah State this morning.

 


At first, officials from the Department of Rural Development gave speech and clarified the aim of the course and rural development tasks being undertaken by the department. Next, concerned officials presented awards to outstanding trainees and completion certificates to the trainees. A trainee also spoke words of thanks for conducting the vocational training course. Then DRD official gave teaching aid materials to the trainees and those present had a documentary photo taken.

 


The trainees from four villages were given practical and theatrical training during the 45-day course which was conducted by the DRD with the aim of creating job opportunities for rural people and increasing their income.—Ko Sai (Loikaw)
