With a view to creating job opportunities for rural women, a ceremony to open an advanced vocational sewing course was held at the hall of Mesinam Village in Mese Township, Bawlakhe District, Kaya State yesterday.

 

At the event, an official the township General Administration Department delivered an opening speech. Next, an official from the district DRD clarified the purpose of the course and urged the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families. Then, the township Administrator U Moe Aung explained matters relating to advanced sewing course.

 

The one-month training course which will run from February 24 to March 23 is being attended by 20 trainees from Mesinam village-tract in the Township.— Wat Yee, DRD
