THE Myanmar national women’s team returned to Yangon at 8:00 pm on 17 July after winning the bronze medal with a 4-3 victory over Viet Nam in the thirdplace match of the 2022 ASEAN Women’s Championship hosted by the Philippines.

Members of the women’s football committee of the Myanmar Football Federation, Federation officials, Myanmar national team U-19 and U-16 women’s teams and family members welcomed back the Myanmar women’s team at the Yangon International Airport.

The Myanmar women’s national team will resume camp training for the upcoming international competitions after the ASEAN Championship, according to the Myanmar Football Federation. — GNLM
