Kawhmu Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank is disbursing agri loans to farmers in Kawhmu Township, Yangon Region.

A total of K 5495.55 million of agri loans have been disbursed to a total of 5915 farmers for 36637 acres of farmlands starting from 15 May to 5 August. The bank is dispensing agri loans to a maximum of 10 acres per farmer and the loans were disbursed at a rate of K 150,000 per acre, according to a Township MADB Manager.

The bank is also distributing agri loans to farmers in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Sports to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
