Kya-in-seik-gyi 31 January

With the sponsorship of Greater Mekong Sub-region Agriculture and Education Development Centre (GMSAEDC), Kya-in-seik-gyi Township Department of Agriculture and Township Department of Basic Education is jointly implementing school gardens in five schools in Kya-in-seik-gyi Township, Kawkareik District, Kayin State starting from 22 January.

With the aim of encouraging children to become more familiar with agricultural good practices, school gardens are being implemented in the township.  The officials from the Township Department of Agriculture shared agricultural good practices and methods of making natural fertilizer with the students.  Then, the officials furnished agricultural aids for the needs of the school garden.
