Agricultural course opens in Katha Tsp

An agricultural course for agro-staff was held at the training hall of Katha District Agricultural Department in Sagaing region this morning. 


The course is designed to provide knowledge of good agricultural practices (GAP) to agro-staff who are to help farmers.


At the training course, head of Katha District Agricultural Department U Phone Maung and course instructors taught the trainees about good agricultural practices (GAP), systematic agriculture management, use of variants of species tolerant to weather and diseases, comprehensive crops protection and fall army worms (FAW).


 A total of 55 agro-staff from the districts of Katha, Kawlin, Wuntho, Inndaw, Pinlebu, Bamauk and Htigyaint signed up for the course.
