With the aim of creating job opportunities and boosting income of locals, rural development department organized vocational agriculture training course at Dhamayone in Mepale Village, Myawaddy Township, Kayin State this morning.

At the event, officials from the district Department of Fisheries, the district Department of Consumer Affairs and the district Department of Agriculture delivered speeches. Next, an official from the Township Rural Development Department clarified the purpose of the course. 

Afterwards, officials from the Township Agriculture Department and Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department explained the subjects to be taught to the trainees.

The seven-day training course is being attended by 30 trainees from four villages in Myawaddy Township.—Kyaw Oo
