Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region is dispensing agricultural loans to farmers in 46 village-tracts in the township starting from 8 June.

The bank disburses agricultural loans to the farmers in line with the instructions guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports. The bank dispenses the loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of monsoon paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops. A total of 1840 farmers were disbursed over K 1165 million of agricultural loans for 6220 acres of paddy and 2324 acres of other crops. The bank will dispense agricultural loans until the end of September, according to Township Branch of MADB.
