Kantbalu District Myanma Agricultural Development Bank is disbursing agricultural loans to farmers in Kantbalu District, Sagaing Region for growing monsoon paddy on May 16.
The bank is disbursing agricultural loans to the farmers at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops.
The bank disbursed agricultural loans to a total of 33 farmers with the guidance of the Chairman of the Township Administration Council. The bank issued the loans to those who have already paid back their debt from the last year, according to District Bank Manager Daw San San Aye.
The bank is issuing agricultural loans to the farmers starting from May and it continues until the end of September.
