With the aim of boosting socio-economic of farmers, agricultural loans have been disbursed to farmers since May 18 this year in Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. 

U Min Thu, Director-General of Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank clarified the purposes of the disbursement of loans for farmers on 18 May.

Under this loans disbursement program, 173 acres of paddy fields and 68 acres of other farmland of 66 farmers from Thanatpinseik village tract Kyun-U village tract in the Township received Ks. 37 million.

The bank continue to dispense agricultural loans to the remaining farmers in the Township in 2023, according to an official from the Township Bank Branch.—Myo Thiha (IPRD)
