The Anti-Corruption Commission presented the reference books on anti-corruption, integrity and codes of conduct (basic education high school and university levels) to the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw yesterday.


At the donation ceremony, Anti-Corruption Chairman U Aung Kyi explained the purposes of the compilation of the reference books that the whole society can practice integrity by understanding its values and ensure true visions for the society, and integrity can be preserved among the public service personnel and civil service personnel.


In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Anti-Corruption Commission compiled the reference books.


The ACC Chairman gave the 700 sets of reference books to U T Khun Myat, the Speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw. Each set consists of 4 reference books.


The Speaker expressed thanks for the books, and stressed the importance of anti-corruption process for the development of a nation.


He added that the compilation and distribution of the reference books is fulfillment of the need of the country, and also said that Hluttaws will cooperate with the anti-corruption commission on the anti-corruption processes.


The event was attended by Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein, Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung, members of Anti-Corruption Commission and officials. — MNA
