THE Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO) has begun inviting applicants to serve as receptionists for the upcoming Myanmar Film Academy Award Ceremony, according to Vice-Chair U Aye Kyu Lay.
Interested individuals can purchase application forms starting 26 November at the office of MMPO (Central) on Wingaba Street, Bahan Township, Yangon. Completed forms must be submitted by 4 pm on 6 December.
“For the 2024 Academy Awards, we are accepting applications from eligible candidates. Applicants must be aged 16 to 25 as of 31 December this year, in good health, of good character, and possess a well-proportioned physique. As in previous years, we will select 20 winners – 10 female and 10 male receptionists,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.
The selection panel includes experienced artists such as Academy Yan Aung, Academy Ye Aung, Academy Soe Myat Thuzar, and Academy May Than Nu. The 2024 Film Academy Award Ceremony is scheduled to take place in February 2025. — ASH/TMT
