An artificial insemination course organized by Pauk Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department was opened at Shwe Pauk Pin hall of the Township General Administration Department yesterday afternoon, with an opening speech by MP U Ye Tun Win of Pyithu Hlutaw.
Then, Deputy Staff Officer U Myo Myint Aung of the Township LBVD said that livestock breeding sector is a key to the socio-economic development of rural people, expressing his hope that the training will be of great benefit to the trainees.
Then, Assistant Director Dr. Yan Naing Win explained that the aim of the course is to breed oxen for multiple purposes and the trainees will undergo practical lessons in the villages.
Assistant Director Dr. Sein win, deputy staff officer Dr. Pyi Phyo Aung and Dr. Pan Chu Chu Aung will give theoretical and practical lessons to 22 trainees in a five-day training course.—Nyan Toe (Pauk)
