ATOM Myanmar and uab Bank PCL have officially launched a service called ‘uab Thaw Ka Kinn Way TelcoCare’, a simple and accessible life insurance protection scheme specially designed for ATOM users.
ATOM users can begin accessing the service from 10 March 2026 through the ATOM Store App or via the official website of ATOM.
“We at ATOM are continuously expanding our digital ecosystem to provide more meaningful benefits for our customers. Through this innovative ‘uab Thaw Ka Kinn Way TelcoCare’ digital life insurance service, users will be able to enjoy better experiences and benefits in their daily lives. Therefore, this collaboration reflects our objective of enhancing financial security through digital technology in addition to our telecommunications network services,” said ATOM Chief Executive Officer Mr Ahmad Abdallah.
The ‘uab Thaw Ka Kinn Way TelcoCare’ programme is specially tailored for young people and middle-aged individuals between 18 and 45 years of age who wish to obtain life insurance protection at affordable rates with attractive benefits. Policyholders will receive a three-year insurance policy term and may choose a coverage amount ranging from K1 million to K10 million.
Under this programme, financial protection will be provided not only for death or permanent total disability, but also for accidental death and loss of limbs.
In addition to life insurance protection, ATOM will also provide policyholders with exclusive telecommunications packages, including data and voice call benefits, depending on the amount of the insurance premium paid.
By combining ATOM’s digital platform with uab bank’s expertise in risk management, the collaboration aims to reduce the gap in access to insurance protection and enhance the financial security of families across Myanmar.
