UNION  Minister  for  In-formation  Dr  Pe  Myint  chaired  a  preliminary  coordination   meeting   yesterday  for  holding  a  ceremony  to  present  National  Literature  Awards,  including  the  Lifetime  Achievement Awards, and the Sarpay Beikman Manuscript Awards for 2018 at Yangon MRTV office.

According   to   the   meeting,  the  awarding  ceremony  will  be  held  on  27  November  2019  (1stWaxing  of  Nadaw,  1381  ME)  at  Sule  ShangriLa  Hotel  in  Yangon.  There  will  be  two  recipients  of  the Lifetime Achievement Awards, ten National Literature Awards, and 24 Sarpay Beikman Manuscript Awards at the event.

Director-General  U  Ye  Naing  of  the  Information and Public Relations Department,  and  Director-General  U  Aung  Myo  Myint  and  officials  of  the  Printing  and  Publishing  Department  discussed  the  matters  related  with  preparations   for   the   awarding  ceremony  including reception, awarding and taking documentary photos. — MNA (Translated  by  Zaw  Htet Oo)
