Kengtong, 22 January
In order to commemorate the 13th anniversary of Kengtong University, an awards ceremony for paper reading session was staged at the hall of the university yesterday afternoon.
First, Dr. Daw San San Mar, rector of the university made an opening speech and then presented prizes to those who won the best research paper awards for Science and a research motto prize to Biology Department.
Afterwards, vice rector Dr. Myat Nyunt presented the best research paper award for Arts to the winner and certificates of honour to those who submitted papers on Arts and Science.
A total of 84 authors presented papers on Arts and Science from January 20 to 21 at the paper reading session.—Aung Zin Myint
