Nay Pyi Taw, November 4
An awareness training course on plan for systematic disposal of village wastes was opened at the meeting hall of Pyinmana Township Rural Development Department in Nay Pyi Taw this morning.
The training course was organized by the Township RDD in cooperation with Nay Pyi Taw Environmental Conservation Department, with the aim of improving systematic disposal of village wastes in the township.
First, U Ye Tun, person in charge of Nay Pyi Taw Environmental Conservation Department made an opening speech. Then, staff officer U Win Zaw of Pyinmana Township Rural Development Department detailed the aim of the training course.
He said that the course was launched to introduce village waste management system in villages, to develop good practice of team work in village communities, to promote self-reliance development works, to reduce the extraction of natural resources through systematic waste management system and recycling techniques.
After that, officials provided the trainees with learning aid materials. A total of 20 trainees from villages in the township will be attending the course that runs from Nov 4 to 14.
